KIRKHEATON.

After working for an amazing client in a stunning location we were delighted to be asked back to work on another section of the garden.

The uneven York stone paving was lifted and recut. An old tree stump removed and the area levelled. The paving was relaid in a circular layout with a low wall of railway sleepers to the back.

Rather than leaving the sleepers in their natural state, we chose to paint them to match the house doors pulling the whole design together. Purple leaved plants were used to give a sharp contrast to the rest of the garden which is fundamentally traditional in style. We then used a palette of pale colours to the rear of the garden to create a more relaxed feel.

We hope this demonstrates that you don’t have to do the whole garden in one go.
