GARDEN ROOM, MIRFIELD.

We were contacted by Stephen and Janet stead in early 2022 to design and build both front and rear gardens.

Part of the brief was to dismantle the existing concrete garage as they wanted to build a large garden room.

We mention that we could design and build the garden room and even was agreed that we would undertake all the work.

The site was stripped back to a blank canvas and we agreed a layout that would work for them.

A main patio from the house- artificial grass, raised beds in new railway sleepers and a patio area at the bottom of the garden to catch the evening sun.

The planting budget was increased allowing us to fill the borders with a mix of colourful insect friendly perennials.

Grey Indian sandstone was used throughout giving the garden a natural relaxed feel.

The room was built using sips and clad in composite boards with a metal roof which was colour matched.

Lighting and a small water feature was installed and the room electrics all done to the clients specifications
