DRAMATIC TRANSFORMATION, UPPER HOPTON.

The brief was to make the garden more user friendly and enlarge the paved area to accommodate a large dining space.

We agreed the layout and started on the clear out-initially taking out the existing concrete pavers and 100 ton of soil and clay.

Unfortunately Susan had broke her leg earlier in the year and felt the patio would work better on one level.

We agreed and removed an extra 40 ton.

We built walls to retain the lawn and created planting beds as Susan was already a keen gardener and wanted to replant some of her favourite perennials we had saved.

To make the area user friendly at night we installed spotlights to highlight the steps and walls giving it a relaxed Mediterranean feel.
